We will be retiring more than 1000 US flags on this day. There is tentatively BSA Troop 29 of Roseville performing the opening and first flag ceremony with a BBQ and refreshments provided afterwards. We have collected flags from Auburn, Roseville, Rocklin and Lincoln Veteran and Boy Scout organizations in addition to local individuals leaving them at our Loomis Veteran’s Hall. Within the next two months, we should have a formal flag drop box installed at the hall.
Donations for the BBQ and Legion programs will be gratefully accepted.
