American Legion Online Updates

The American Legion can now keep you better informed about what is going on in our great organization and up-to-date on issues affecting Veterans.  Post 775 is signed up to receive a weekly electronic newsletter, The American Legion OnLine Update.

Working with our community
American Legion Post 775 will be sponsoring a Hunter Safety Course February  (Memorial Hall)
May we will be working to support the Annual Soap Box Derby and the Loomis School Parents Club

We support the Del Oro Wings Program and Memorial Services at Del Oro (starts promply at (9AM)
Annual Flag Disposal Ceremony June (Sunday after Del Oro Graduation (Loomis Basin Regional Park, King Road)
September (TBD) Hunter Safety course (Memorial Hall)
Loomis Fall Gathering in November at the Blue Goose www.CowpokeFallGathering.com
Each December we put up the Loomis Family Christmas Tree for putting up Loomis Family ornament. We ask that you put your family name on the ornament, the year you came to the Loomis Basin and finally the names of your family. The kids can also make their own.
We also support the cub Scouts Pack 815 and Troop 12 Boy Scouts


 These events support the Legion Post 775 commitment to working with others to support and recognize the young people and families of or community.

We will be providing the Loomis Basin Student and Family
Hunter Safety Education Course

You are required to register in advance as space is limited so sign up in advance. The signup fee is $5 and must be in our possession Friday Feb. 14th. if you would like a flier covering all the details please request one at our e-mail address (under contacts). Details will be on the flier. You could also contact  Russ by telephone. E-MAIL is prefered.
Please also provide the names, address’s, contact information to keep informed. Our flier covers more detail that must be complied with this is intended for students and parents or guardians. You must attend both days.
